How the coordination works.
On a Paradise Valley project where the homeowner has retained an architect or designer, the architect's office is our primary point of coordination on the roof. We participate in design review where the roof is on the agenda, contribute material specification options to the architect's master spec, mock up the architectural details that will be visible (eaves, ridges, valleys, terminations), and submit shop drawings and material submittals through the architect.
On heritage and restoration projects we work from the original drawings, with the original architect when one is still practicing, or with a current architect commissioned to match the design intent.
What architects can expect.
Specification documents in the architect's preferred format. Mock-up reviews with sufficient lead time. Submittal packages with manufacturer cut sheets, finish samples, and warranty documentation. Site visits coordinated through the architect's office. A single point of contact through the project — not a rotating cast.
