Storm & Monsoon

Documented for insurance. Repaired to spec or better.

Microbursts, dust storms, and hailstorms cycle through Paradise Valley each summer. We document storm damage thoroughly for insurance claims and repair to the original specification or better.

How we work with insurance carriers.

Storm damage is typically covered under a homeowner's policy. Gradual UV degradation and end-of-life underlayment failure are not. We document storm-related damage in detail — wind paths, impact points, and the secondary damage that often appears at flashings and penetrations after a microburst — and we work directly with adjusters from every major carrier.

We do not inflate scope to manufacture a claim. If we don't believe a claim is honest, we will tell you and we will not file the report. Discretion in this market also means honesty when it costs us scope.

Emergency response.

Active leaks following a monsoon event get a same-day or next-day dry-in: emergency tarping, temporary flashing, and water-intrusion mitigation. The permanent repair follows after the adjuster review and the materials lead time. We do not use the emergency call as a path to upsell scope.

Reserve specification

What's different about how we deliver this work.

Detailed claim documentation

Photographic and written documentation suitable for adjuster review and replacement scope. We submit the report; the homeowner approves it.

Direct adjuster coordination

We work with adjusters from every major carrier and provide the supporting documentation they need without surprise scope.

Emergency tarping & dry-in

Same-day or next-day mitigation following a monsoon event when the home is actively leaking.

Repair to spec or better

Replacement materials matched to the original specification or upgraded with the homeowner's approval.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

  • Generally, no. Have a documented inspection first; we'll tell you whether the damage is consistent with a covered storm event. Many homeowners file claims that get denied because the damage isn't actually storm-related.

  • It depends on the carrier and the policy. We can help you understand what the claim documentation will look like before you file so you can make that decision with full information.
